The murky October sky, gave a wry smile as I landed in India’s commercial capital, Mumbai. The moisture laden air and dark clouds tried hard to outdo the bustling energy that the city is so famous for. Surprisingly, the euphoria of the city secretly undid the overcast conditions, and hummed a jubilant tune to itself.

Not every day do people care to stop by and take notice. Not every day do passive onlookers stare in sheer amazement. When I stepped in at the Forum mall Bangalore, on the 20th of September, I too was taken aback at the mini spectacle. I would probably never fancy myself wearing a kurta to the office but today being Diwali, was an exception. In my growing years I liked watching amateur DJs who would pull the right chords and push the right buttons and yet could not make the mix come alive.
